How do upsells work with muti-currency stores?

We understand that you may have a single domain supporting multiple currencies & geographies. Our app follows Shopify guidelines when it comes to handling multiple currencies and geographies. Checkout below how each one of our offers will work in your store:

  • Product Page Embedded and Pop-up: These offers will follow your store's selected currency. If your store's currency is in USD, the offer will be shown in USD; if it is GBP, the offer will be shown in GBP.
  • Cart: Upsells' slide-out cart will follow your store's selected currency.

If you want to set up reward thresholds for various geographies, contact our support, and we will gladly assist you. Please share the geographies and the corresponding thresholds with us.

  • Checkout: These offers will also follow your store's selected currency. If your store's currency is in USD, the offer will be shown in USD; if it is GBP, the offer will be shown in GBP. However, if you are using our free shipping bar on the checkout page, unlike our slide-out cart, Shopify only allows us to use the base currency free shipping threshold.
  • Post-purchase: Post-purchase upsells are only shown for the store's base currency and will not be shown for other currencies, i.e., if your store's base currency is USD and the shopper is buying in GBP - the upsell will not be shown.

This is not unique to our app. It happens to all 3rd party apps on the app store since it's a current Shopify limitation.

  • Thank you & Order Status pages: These offers will follow your store's selected currency. If your store's currency is in USD, the offer will be shown in USD; if it is GBP, the offer will be shown in GBP.
